In 1805 the Duke of Bedford commissioned the famous landscape gardener, Humphrey Repton, to create designs to enhance the Gardens and Deer Park for his family, friends and guests to enjoy. 2018 celebrates the bicentenary of the very famous landscape gardeners with an exhibition giving visitors the opportunity to discover Repton’s other works for the Bedford family with never before seen unexecuted designs featuring alongside works of art and archival treasures.
